The Psalm Project

In 2006, singer/songwriter Shane Heilman felt inspired to set the Psalms to music in a way few had heard before: Psalms set to music in their entirety, not just brief excerpts. Telling the entire story of each Psalm through music, giving context to its most famous verses. Moving arrangements with artful musicianship, supporting every emotion and truth of the Psalm. A community of musicians giving multiple voices to the arrangements, rather than one individual. All the grit, grandeur, and glory of the Psalms in one epic collection. Nearly a decade and a half later, that vision has resulted in nearly one-third of the book of Psalms set to music in their entirety with involvement from over 70 musicians, including Grammy and Dove Award nominees.
